The Datalytyx team attended “Welcome to the quantum world” yesterday evening at Imperial College’s South Kensington Campus.

Postgraduate students presented their take on the development of real world technologies from their research. Practical technologies like quantum metrology and telecommunications will be leaping out of the lab and into our lives within the next five years, they predict.

“It was pretty mindblowing,” said Paul Headey, Sales Director at Datalytyx, when asked about the event.

As a company that always needs to keep its eyes on the horizon for new technology and avancements in the world of data, “Welcome to the quantum world” gave the Datalytyx some food for thought about the potential applications of quantum computing in the world of data.
